I have known that such a thing as polyphasic sleep existed for some time. I have trouble sleeping quite often. Yesterday - after rising from a much needed nap - something clicked. I decided to google polyphasic sleep and I feverishly read the small amount I could find. I then decided that this was a worthy experiment. I have little to loose and much to gain. Already I havn't slept for a couple of days except for a couple short naps. If I can successfully adapt to an uberman sleep schedule I will regain my sleep and, experiment with altered states of consciousness, and live what may as well be an extra life during my extra 6 hours a day. My schedule will be as follows: I will sleep every 3.5 hours for .5 hours beginning at 0330, 0730, 1130, 1530, 1930, and 2330. I will be using a white noise mp3 during my naps. Thus far I took a nap at 1930. It is currently 2227 so I will attempt another nap in an hour. I will report my results this time tommarow.
