Allright so let's put you in context first: i go to CEGEP, which is a kind of college specific to Quebec, and my schedule makes me perfect for a Dymaxion 45 minutes each six hours: I enter school at 8:00, have break from 12 to 3, and get outta there at 5 or 6. I can squeeze a pretty decent Dymaxion inside that, making my noon nap in the most comfortable couch of the student's association's local.
I chose this week to start my new schedule because I am in vacation. So yeah. I started slowly by some tests, like shortening my sleep night and seeing how much I would feel tired, and tring to make naps at the hours that I would do in my new schedule. I felt really weird by Friday. So today is my official day one. This morning, I came back from a party, at about 2. I decided to wait until my 3 o'clock nap. So I installed myself in the middle of my living room, and I set an alarm for 3:45. The souvenir of this nap is verry unclear: I kinda misprogrammed the clock, so it never rang. But I stood up and went back to my computer at 4:30. I think I did not sleep, but I have no memoir of the nap. It made disapear a little pain in the legs that I had from dancing. So since that moment, I'm reading things on my computer, wating for my 9:00 nap.
Sorry for the bad syntax, I'm pretty tired now.
But I prefer keep that this way: I keep this as a diary of my mental state during my sleep deprivation. 'Cause I know I become weird and unstable when tired.

So, I just woke up from my 9:00 (or rather 8:50 for this one) nap, and it been pretty good. I remember going into some weird dreams verry rapidly after going to bed, and they woke me up twice, last time at 9:00. I remember having dreamt something after, dunno what.
Escaping the fatal gravitationnal attraction of the bed was moderatly hard. I feel a littl bit more tired than when I went to bed. Clearly no REM sleep here.
So, next stop 3:00 (I prefer saying 15:00).
BTW, I'm not so tired, for a guy that made party for 4 hours, and slept only 40 minutes...

First of all: I'm lazy. I'm goddam lazy.
I'm asking myself now (30 minutes from the next nap...) Will I gain some motivation with a Dymaxion sleep schedule?
Probably not. But I read a lot of polyphasic sleepers telling in their sleep logs how they feel so good, relaxed, re-energized and all that... It's sure that if I feel this way I'm gonna do something of my life, but I'm just throwing that question in the air, and I will try to answer when I'l have had (damn, English has some weird verb fiddling...) adapted to the schedule.
Another question: has any of you ever dealt with controlled oversleep?
Lemme 'splain: I like electro music, but the concert tend to finish outrageously late. Like, from 20 to 3. Which makes 7 hours, which is like 2 hours too much for a Dymaxion... So has any of you (gee I think I need my nap) tryed to sleep more than their allocation before an event they knew would be longer than what they could stand?
Thnsk... Thakn... Thanks.
I'm going to nap. Good night.

So, I went to bed at 14:50 instead of 15:00 because of the tiredness, and it went not bad. Like everytime I got to be during daytime, as soon as I touch the mattress I my sleepyness disappear. But I started elaborating on what could I tell my father if he knew I haven't slept last night (he would mildly disaprove, so he does not know yet) and I jost lost control and it became a fucked-up weird dream of that kind that I do everytime... I woke up from that dream at 15:00 to plunge down another dream, that ended up when my alarm set off, at 15:35. I feel a little more energised than 1 hour before, but again probably no trace of REM. Probably only light-sleep daydreaming.
Anyways. I'm really happy because I start to sleep really soon after I go bed, where I needed somwhere about an hour with my old sleep schedule. This may be one problem that the Dymaxion sleep schedule may have solved.

So, let's start by the end of day 1... My 9:00 nap, that I took at 7:00 to arrive on time for a party, has gone not verry well. I slept probably for max 20 minutes, on 40. I drank a Coke that gave me a lot of energy, but it didn't lasted. At 12, I quit the party, a little bit because I was tired, but mostly because girls were all leaving, and guys became as overrepresented as unrespectfull. Damn, at one point I was dancing with a girl, and a guy came by her back and litterally took her away from me! And to add the insult to the injury, he just left her alone after 30 seconds. Plus the messy security caused a massive free-for-all lineup... Man that chilling was weird...
Anyways, sorry for the little rant, I think I'm tired. ;)
The 3:00 - 9:00 period should be weird for me. Last night my father was not home, but tonight he is. He's usually waking up at 6:00, and he will see me awaken... Pretty weird given that I came back from a party at 1:30. As I said he'l probably disaprove my idea of fucking up my sleep pattern. But anyways there's no school this week, I have the right not to sleep, eh? (Yeah I'm Canadian).
Hey I tought about it, and I really fear not beeing able to get up at 3:45. I think I'l double my alarms.
