Any advice for falling asleep fast? I have a hard time falling asleep in under a half hour to an hour, especially during the day. When I'm only taking 20 minute naps I cant afford to lay there for half an hour. Ideas?

I recommend using one of the white noise cd's. They help me relax. Other than that, you'll just need to sleep deprive yourself, and eventually your body will start learning how to fall asleep quickly.

I agree with Toad. After I exhaust myself, I can fall asleep in minutes. It also helps to have an area designated for sleeping only. That way, your body (and mind) begin to associate sleep with that area, so you can hopefully fall asleep more quickly.

Thanks for the advice both of you, I'm starting to fall asleep faster but not fast enough. I will try both of your techniques and see how that works.

And sorry for the double post...I think my internet was going weird at the time.

I hope those methods work for you. It may sound weird, but don't concentrate on sleeping; it might psych you out.

How long have you been poly for? After a while your body should just get tired around nap time. Make sure you stick to your nap times unless there is actually a natural disaster smiley
